There are many different views and thoughts pertaining to abortion. Abortion was a big controversy not to long ago. I personally am 100% against abortion. On the other hand I do think its every persons choice on how they feel about it. I could understand if someone was raped and got pregnant and wanted to get an abortion. Rape is a very scary thing I have never personally had to deal with rape but I know people that have. If I were to ever get raped and end up pregnant I would never get an abortion, just because I feel there are other ways to deal with having the child then just killing it. I cant say for sure what I would do in the situation but it would be between having and keeping the child or having the child then giving it up for adoption.
There are many people in this world who cant get pregnant at all and would do anything just to have a child. That’s one reason why I feel so badly about abortion, and the fact that is killing a helpless baby. If you got pregnant and weren't ready for a child then you could always find a family that wants a child. Adoption is a great alternative, you could have and open adoption and still be able to watch your child grow with its new family. If you don't feel comfortable with that then you wouldn't have to have an open adoption. I understand that there are many scenarios that would come into play with abortion. For example how old you are when you got pregnant, who the father is, if you are economically stable for a child. I feel that if your not ready for a child physically or economically then you should use birth control or a condom, so that way abortion doesn't have to happen.

I personally agree with you 100% on the abortion topic! Your paper was very organized and I liked the way you looked at both sides, not everyone can do it! I agree though there is a different way of coping with the fact of rape and ending up pregnant! Your paper was great, but I have definitely read a lot of abortion papers throughout high school!

ReplyDeleteso you did a very awesome job writing this paper. I agree with you totally. I always used to say, "What did that child ever do to you?" I say that abortion is a bad thing. As you said..there are many different options than abortion..great job.
ReplyDeleteTaylor I totally agree with you. There are so many women out there that aren't able to have a child. I know there are many women who would also love to adopt a baby. The baby has no control over what they decide though..that's what's so sad though. :( Great job though!

ReplyDeleteWhat I like about this post is that you say that you are 100% against abortion, but you think that it should be an individual's choice. Just because it isn't what you might do, doesn't mean you would want to make that decision for others.
